ECPHG is involved in the following projects
Mutanom Project - Systems Biology of Genetic Diseases
The project is an Integrated Genome Research Network (IG) funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Researche (BMBF) as part of the Program of Medical Genome Research (NGFN-Plus)
The IG Mutanom aims to characterise the functional consequences of somatic mutations and to develop models that predict the outcome of such genetic alterations on a molecular pathway level, cellular
and organism level. The project results will be translated into the clinical and Public Health sector with the goal of enabling new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for cancer.
BBMRI - Managing resources for the future of biomedical research
The project will create a pan-European Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI) for biomedical and biological research in Europe and worldwide, building on existing
infrastructures, resources and technologies, specifically complemented with innovative components and properly embedded into European ethical, legal and societal frameworks.
DATAproBIO
The project is on data protection in biobanking and public health, and is focusing on implications for the governance of emerging genome-based knowledge in Europe. The project is a joint project with the JRC-IPTS in Sevilla, one of the Joint Research Centres of the European Commission. While the ECPHG is working on Public Health and legal aspects of knowledge integration and data protection, the IPTS focuses on the health economic evaluation of data protection measures.
Several European universities and their associated partners will join forces to generate a flexible educational module "Gender Medicine (GM)" that teaches gender differences in wide-spread diseases, therapy and research methods at a European level. The project aims to generate internationally recognized experts for a gender-sensitive medicine and develop an expandable European network.

First peer-reviewed international journal focusing on the translation of genome-based knowledge and technology into public policy, disease prevention and improvement of population health.
Riche
Research project on child health indicators. Within the project the ECPHG is working on the genomics perspective.

Public Population Project in Genomics (P³G)
The ECPHG is working as one of the coordinators of the P3G core on Public Health Genomics, within the IWG (International Working Group) 3: Ethics, Governance and Public Engagement.
GRaPH-Int (Genome-based Research and Population Health International Network)
The working group on research needs and priorities will support dialogue, research, education and training, communication and stakeholder
engagement. It helps transform knowledge and technologies into public policies, programmes and services for the benefit of public health.

European Health Forum - Gastein
The ECPHG is involved in the organization of a meeting in Public Health Genomics within the EHF Gatsein. The forum is the European health policy conference with the aim of providing a platform for discussion for the various stakeholders in the field of public health and health care.
ENGENDER
The project is co-ordinated by the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and aims to promote and support gender equity in health by developing an online inventory on
good practices in Europe. Funded by DG Sanco, a database of good practices will be developed upon which policy briefs will be based as final deliverables.
genSET
We participate as a supporting organization. genSET aims to support European science institutions in taking action on gender in order to enrich science research;
expand human and intellectual R&D capital; increase science productivitiy; and create better conditions for the participation of both women and men in science knowledge making.
Symptom dimensions on the pathway to school dropout
This ZonMW-project aims to understand the role of health indicators in school dropout. The project runs from 2010-2014 and is a collaborative project with the Dept of Social Medicine, GGD Brabant ZO,
Municipality Eindhoven
